Digital Postcard!

Today in our Manaiakalani session we learnt what's real and what's fake, We also learnt how to be safe online and how to avoid scams, We also created a digital postcard! We learnt that there must be a padlock in the URL.

I enjoyed choosing my background cause it was interesting to think about all of the interesting ideas I had in my head.

I found it challenging to get my whole body into the photo because I was to big so we had to do a lot of adjustments to get the right photo that would fit the shot.

I found it easy to make a paragraph about my "Trip" to the skate park! I found it easy because I already knew my idea while Mrs Williams was talking to us about these postcards.

Next time I will make my "trip" a more interesting part, So the paragraph I wrote is more interesting then my first one!

Pohutukawa E-BOOK :)

For this weeks Manaiakalani we made a book/video on our scratch tutorial!

In this process, I learned how to make a interesting video and how to decorate a little portrait slide. I also learnt how to make my slide portrait!

Something I struggled with but managed to overcome was coping with my group because they were a bit distracting especially on our slides.

I did this by doing a background to make it a bit interesting, Adding my video of my tutorial on scratch and making it look attracting to the reader/viewer.

Something I didn't learn but would like to is how to make my slide look more fascinating and more attracting so the reader and when people look at our class book they will be attracted to my slide and when people look on my blog!  : )

Scratch Tutorial! How to make your Sprite Character ask a question and how to say something.

Today in Manaiakalani we had to make a screencastify to show how to do something on scratch. :  )

Scratch is a easy coding game and it is very interesting to learn and to do some Manaiakalani mahi around it.
In the past I have used scratch to do many things such as games, learning and much more.
I think that scratch is a great coding game! :) There are many other awesome things to do on scratch.

About Me!! (Scratch) 😊

I enjoy scratch all tho it is a bit of a challenge for me.
Scratch is a program where you use coding to make a interesting video/game.
I have used scratch before but it is still a challenge for me.
In this video game on scratch I am trying to make a about me so when you open my blog you know about me.

When you play this game...
 1. You have to click on the tiny green flag to make the game start.
2. After the little character will start to talk to you!
3.It will also start asking you questions about YOU!

Have you ever made a scratch game?

I really hope this game tells you about me so when you visit my blog you'll know exactly  about me.

Element And Animal Avatar

We were learning how to make a avatar using a element and a animal mixed together.
I found it easy to find the right monkey for the trees.
I found it challenging to to communicate with Zane because he was on the other side of the room.
Next time I will find a better element to fit the monkey so it will look better.
